I wish you are all in good health and finding your experience here in the Steemit platform engaging. Being an active member of the Steem community, I have come to appreciate the frequent power-ups of delegate’s reputation to ensure the client has the best standing in the consuming communities. To enhance impact, to amplify the relevance of the incentives, and to demonstrate the commitment, powering up is essential. I am delighted to participate in HWC contest #93: POWER UP & WIN - WEEK 60 organized by @jyoti-thelight.

This week, I powered up 150 of the out of the 163 Steem that is in my wallet so I show my commitment and passion. By powering up nearly all my Steem I am once again progressing significantly as a member of the Steemit community. Every power-up increases Steem Power, which increases my standing and improves my capabilities in the community.

You must submit a thorough, screenshotted description of how you did it in order to be eligible.

First I opened my wallet through the menu bar using the ‘Wallet’ option. Here all my steem assets are listed.

I went to the wallet section and there was the ‘Steem’ button which I clicked and a dropdown menu dropped down, I selected ‘Power Up, which is very crucial so that I could gain more Steem Power.

So for the specific amount vested on the power-up field I entered the value of 150 Steem. In order to verify this and know that all is well the next step is to check the quantity in order to power up with this exact value.

Finally, when I wanted to finish entering all the details, I clicked the OK button as a sign that all the particulars were correct.

The system asked me for my active key this to complete the transaction process. As I was already logged in, it took some few seconds to complete the power up process most of the time.

It is important to do frequent power-ups for several reasons for anyone who is using Steemit and this kind of platform. It increases self-authority and voting power and you will be able to motivate people directly or indirectly. Powering up also show company’s commitment to the platform’s development which is also beneficial for visibility and activity. When you convert liquid Steem into Steem Power, you are simply demonstrating loyalty to the community. Furthermore, powering up often also simply improves your controlling stake in curation and authorship, raising possible earnings and fortifying your Steemit presence and activity going forward.
