It is my pleasure to participate in the competition of the week; “POWERUP & WIN – WEEK-42”. I am a loyal follower of the Steem platform and therefore my task is to develop my accounts and become a reputable participant of the Steemit community. This week, I am most proud of the fact that I have managed to up my Steems power during the current weeks hence enhancing my status in Steem ecosystem. There is the need to recharge and maintain my input, increase my power to influence decisions, and support more producers out there. As shown in this post, I am fully committed to building Steemit for a decentralized future that is also robust.

During this week, I made the decision to increase the power of 120 Steems from the total of 177 Steems that were in my wallet.

Since I joined this platform I have realized that for one to do well in Steemit there is need to fill up or to be very active. Gradually accumulating Steem might be considered as the primary strategy in order to contribute to a well-established positioning of an independent author within the unique community of Steemit. The value is no longer as large as the amount of Steem I directly own but about the daily/weekly effort to nominate more power to myself, even if that means by a little bit at a time. Establishment of consistency is vital, and any power-up increases the effectiveness and participation to a better result on.

Step 1: The next step was interaction with the wallet section because all my Steem assets are stored there.

Step 2: Log in to my wallet; enter my username for Steemit.

Step 3: On the wallet interface, I went to the configuring options tab, and from the dropdown list, I selected “Steem”. After intense consideration of the alternatives and their merits then, I settled for the “Power Up” option.

Step 4: I placed 120 Steem as the specific amount of currency I wanted to power up into the mentioned space. Having reset the quantity I then made sure that the power-up had been activated by entering the correct quantity.

Step 5: After identifying the selection, I affirmed my move by clicking on the “OK” button.

Step 6: As per the directions given, I inputted my Active key and waited for the next prompt. Since I had went through an authenticating process before, this step, unfortunately, was also unproblematic for me.

Therefore, eventually, I was able to power up appropriately without any issues surfacing all thanks to the adherence of these techniques.

It is, therefore, very important for several reasons that there should be regular power-ups on Steemit. Firstly, they increase my reach or say, weightage in the community for voting or decision-making in the community. Secondly, they are long-term underlines prospects that underline my constant loyalty and support towards further development of the platform. Furthermore, it strengthens my chances of earning more enhanced revenues out of curation and authorship, which in turn enhances my total recompense capability. Finally, power-ups are also of significant value to the Steemit community since they provide the necessary liquidity and help reduce the level of volatility observed in the system. This, in turn, brings out a rich environment that meets the needs of the present and potential consumers, making for a rich experience for all.

Therefore, performing power-ups is not only strengthening my account on Steemit but protecting its constantly powerful and maintaining the perpetual activity of the platform. This way I not only advance my own presence but also contribute to the long-term health and well-being of an ecosystem as I help to support a broad and diverse array of fellow users in making their collective journey both more enjoyable and informative.
