✿Greetings Wonderful Individuals✿

I am very much excited to participate in the contest organized by @manisha.jain9 "Correlation Between Parenting and Child Behaviour" This is near and dear to me as a mother of a 3-year-old, I am excited to dive into this topic with you all about how being parents impacts our children in so many ways.

1.How does parenting affect child behaviour? Is there any correlation between them?

Parenting affects a child's behavior, and the way of doing too is very important to shape a Child. I am a mother to a 3-year-old, and I firmly believe that parenting is essential in the behavior of your child. I have learned the hard way that establishing a nurturing and structured home filled with love, discipline, and communication is essential to guiding my child in behaving better. Noticing some newfound security and self-assuredness on the part of my kid over here after being more clear with boundaries, and continuing to enforce good behaviors around curiosity & empathy. This brings about respectful behavior and is also supportive of their emotional growth & resilience.

2. Is parenting alone responsible for child behavior or are there any other factors too? What are they? Explain.

I personally feel parenting is the big one but not the only disadvantaged influence on child behaviour. Additional factors which impact child behavior:

🔹Biological characteristics: children derive personality traits and other likelihoods from their genetic material, including aspects of temperament.

🔹Ecological:The sociocultural and physical environment in which a child is raised, as well as the type of exposure he has towards media makers peers, teachers or caregivers that shape his belief systems about morality influence on their behaviour.

🔹Life Events & Changes: Movements, family circumstances and individual difficulties are examined in conjunction with impacts on behaviour and emotional growth.

🔹Peer Influence: Such as relationships and how a child is able to fit in with peers can also greatly affect behavior and decision making.

🔹There is apparently a flip side to this information: Media and Technology: Exposure to media content and technology can also shape attitudes, beliefs, thoughts etc., which ultimately dictate reality for children.

Of course good parenting is important but all these other things together give us a better understanding of child development.

3.Can we change a child’s behaviour after they are grown up?

I believe we can influence and re-direct a grown child, but it is much different doing so than when they are 10 or even 16. Although early childhood and adolescence are key times to influence behavior, plenty can still be done by adults through continued support, guidance and reinforcement.

Open communication and setting realistic expectations is one way to go. Adults can provoke reflection and motivate reflective change in the individual by calmly talking through their concerns, respectful of the young adult's autonomy. This also has an extra dimension in terms of providing constructive feedback and supporting improvement by finding solutions.

Finally, the power of teaching by example. When it comes to adults, even our kids get inspired through the day in and day out of living what we believe. Furthermore, creating an environment where a client feels valued and respected is necessary to instigating a change in behavior.

Where direct shaping of the behaviours may lose its effectiveness with age, this does not diminish the importance in being a supportive one along with constantly encouraging actions that lead to growth and development throughout an individual's life.

I would like to invite my friends @bonaventure24, @comfortpeter and @sushanta83 to participate in this contest
