Dear diary

It's the last Monday of the month of April, so i took a day break from work to join steemians in keeping fit. My day actually was full of various activities and engagements. Though i couldn't sleep well last night due to severe pains i went through, i felt a little bit better waking up this Monday morning.

Morning and afternoon activities

I was awake as early as 6am in the morning, i applied my paste on my brush, brush my teeth, take a warm bath, say a prayer, then put on my outfit for today's workout at STAYFIT CLUB. I jogged down to the training ground with my headset giving me the vibes. On almost reaching the gate, my coach @ngoenyi arrived with her children @wizzyboy3 and @fortwis09.

We do have constant power supply at our training ground, so the coach powered up the music box and start selecting some Tabata songs that'll be used for today's workout. "Songs to be played for today's workout session is ready" said the coach. Today, we were to work on abs exercises, we all took our positions and the workout begins.

This was one of the program we did so as to build our abs. It may look easy through the pictures, but it's harder when practiced. It's done by squatting down low with your hands on your knees, then pull up with your hands on your waist for 20 consecutive times. I didn't feel it that much, not until i did up to 15 rounds, I started feeling some pains below my abdomen. With the music box giving me the vibes, i didn't stop but to make sure that i completed my program.

This was the hardest program I've ever done since i started exercising with STAYFIT CLUB. I couldn't even complete the whole session because the pains was unbearable. This exercise builds our abs, especially for guys who needs six packs instead of pot belly. It's done by lifting your 2 legs up then push and pull it back to yourself while your hands are on a flat surface. I sweated like a Christmas goat.

This too was a bit difficult for me because of the pace i used and the Tabata song played on the music box. I didn't follow the beat of the song again because that would've torn my heart apart. I reduced the pace and i finally completed my program. This is done by Placing your hands on a flat surface/board, then you do the air running running your legs. It's a very good and effective exercise for abs because i felt it deep inside.

SIDE STRETCHING

After completing all the difficult programs, we rounded up with side stretching. This enables our muscles and bones to get to its point and work perfectly. This is done simply by twisting to the left and right, and your hands on the air. After the stretching, i heard some bone cracks on my knee, this particular program has it own benefits.


We were dismissed for today, now waiting patiently to get another program done on Wednesday. After the dismissal, i and @bossj23 waited behind because we had some certain things to look into, and one of those things was photography skill acquisition. Bossj is known to be the best photographer in our midst, so i talked to him about it and he was willingly to teach.


I learnt a lot today from him. I learnt how to set a camera to pick a perfect shot, the features to use when taking object afar and within, and also to position myself without my shadow intruding the camera view. One of the creative picture we came up with👇🏾.

That's a picture of me putting on my sneakers. The image doesn't really tell if I'm wearing it or not, because the sneakers look more bigger than me. That's creativity in photography, I'm hoping to learn more from him after Wednesday workout session.

I've been using my phone for some months now without safeguarding my screen, bossj was heading to the big shopping mall in my city (Plaza), so i followed him along to get a screenguard for my phone. I went to my sure plug, (POINTEK) phone accessories to get my phone's screenguard.


After waiting for some minutes, i was attended to and my screenguard was fixed. On my way back home, i gave my phone to be charged, pick the available ogada man and i arrived home safely. I got into a deep sleep as i was very tired and exhausted😫.

It was already dark when i woke-up, so i quickly take my bath and headed to the charging point to get my phone. I was happy because my phone was 100% charged. My cravings that evening was pineapple fruit , so i walked down to the trader, bargained on the price as things are costly now and i bought the pineapple worth 300 Naira which is equivalent to 0.81 steem.

I got home with my stomach filled with the pineapple juice. I was about to have some rest after all the stress i passed through today, not until a newbie called, seeking for my help. I helped him sort pictures and how to source it professionally after uploading here on Steemit. I also helped a new user to sign up and get his PDF keys downloaded and safe. Tomorrow I'll guiding him with his archivement-1 post. That is how my busy day ended.
