Hope everyone is well? Alhamdulillah I am fine too. Today is the second week of a great event organized by the Hind Whale Community Childhood Trauma and Incidents: How Do They Affect Our Children's Lives? Childhood is a time of emotional development for every child. Many are disturbed in various ways during this time and lose control over themselves. What problems do children face and which are all childhood traumas?

Trauma for children as normal activities of children are interrupted. Children learn from what they see or are treated when they are young. Certain activities or behaviors trigger fear in them. Following are some of the trauma-inducing points:

• Stressing a child to get something by putting extra pressure on it creates trauma in the child. For example, if he does not want to study by fearing and forcing him to study, it creates trauma in the children.

• Family conflict creates negative trauma in children. Family elders fight in the presence of children and fear builds up in the child and cannot behave in a friendly manner with the parents.

• Child labor is a major trauma It becomes a trauma for children when they have to work for their money when they should be playing sports and being with other children.

• Sexual abuse or putting hands on the child's sensitive area creates anxiety in children.

How to protect children from social abuse?

A good environment should be created for children to come out of social abuse or trauma. Children can play sports and other activities in an environment that suits them. Good behavior of parents with children will help them build a good life. Don't behave in front of the child in a way that makes them feel stressed.

How to educate our children about good touch and bad touch?

Family education is very important for every child. Being a family with primary education, it is very important to teach our children positive aspects from childhood. Teaching children to build good character and behaving well with other family members. Children should be taught to protect their sensitive areas. Children should be taught from an early age to respect their elders and speak politely. Most importantly, it is very important to create a positive environment for children.

What do we have to sacrifice to raise a good child?

There is a common saying in our country "Freedom is harder to protect than to gain" Just like giving birth to a child is not the end of its responsibility, raising the child properly and making it a good person is the main task. We have to sacrifice a lot to raise children. We have to change our extravagant lifestyle for children. Parents should follow a life that is good for children and that children will emulate. If the child is sick, having to wake up at night to take care of the child disturbs the restful sleep. In today's age of technology with hand in hand mobile and internet in front of kids we refrain from using it. Children are allocated a large amount of time to take them to school and take care of the child before taking care of themselves. All sufferings disappear when our children grow up to be humane and good people.
