El día de ayer paseando por la plataforma, encontré una interesante iniciativa publicada en la cuenta de @steemitblog. La misma, es parte del proyecto que lleva adelante el Equipo de Steemit, titulada "100 días de STEEM". En este caso corresponde al día 5 y el desafío, a nivel general plantea, que tomemos una o varias fotografías desde nuestras ventanas y las compartamos en una publicación. Yesterday, walking around the platform, I found an interesting initiative published in the @steemitblog account. It is part of the project carried out by the Steemit Team, called "100 days of STEEM". Desde la ventana de mi habitación, mi pequeño jardín

Como he comentado en muchas oportunidades en mis publicaciones, vivo en Venezuela, específicamente en Barcelona, ciudad ubicada en Anzoátegui, uno de los estados orientales del país. No vivo en un edificio, y mucho menos tengo balcón, así que, el campo de visión, que puedo abarcar desde mi ventana no es muy amplio. Sin embargo, la ventana de mi habitación, está orientada a nuestro pequeño jardín. Así que, inicié mis tomas desde esa ventana, pude captar en primer plano, una de mis plantas de orquídeas. Como pueden observar, para alegrarnos un poco estos días de cuarentena, nos regaló un hermoso ramillete de sus hermosísimas flores. La naturaleza siempre premiándonos con sus milagros.

From my bedroom window, my little garden

As I have commented on many occasions in my publications, I live in Venezuela, specifically in Barcelona, a city located in Anzoátegui, one of the eastern states of the country. I don't live in a building, much less have a balcony, so the field of vision, which I can see from my window, is not very wide. However, my bedroom window faces our small garden. So, I started my shots from that window, I was able to capture in the foreground, one of my orchid plants. As you can see, to cheer us up a little during these days of quarantine, he gave us a beautiful bouquet of his very beautiful flowers. Nature is always rewarding us with its miracles.

La vista desde el ventanal de mi pequeño jardín

Mi pequeño jardín, está ubicado en la parte frontal de la casa, así que da a la calle. Como está cercado, puedo salir sin correr ningún peligro de contagio. De hecho, es el lugar donde mi familia y yo salimos a diario a tomar un poco de sol. En esta oportunidad, aproveché de tomar unas fotos desde los ventanales que dan a la calle, para que apreciaran un poco la pequeña plaza que se encuentra frente a mi hogar. La edificación, que se puede apreciar entre los árboles, es la casita comunal. En ella se realizan distintas actividades, dirigidas a la integración vecinal, como, clases de yoga, salsa casino, y el último sábado de cada mes, se realiza una misa. También, allí se reúne la junta de vecino, claro, en estos momentos está cerrada por la cuarentena.

The view from my little garden window

My little garden is located at the front of the house, so it faces the street. Since it's fenced in, I can get out without any danger of contagion. In fact, it's the place where my family and I go out every day to get some sun. This time, I took the opportunity to take some pictures from the windows overlooking the street, so that they could appreciate a little bit the small square in front of my home. The building, which can be seen among the trees, is the little communal house. In it, different activities are carried out, aimed at the integration of the neighborhood, such as yoga and salsa casino classes, and on the last Saturday of each month, a mass is held. Also, the neighborhood committee meets there. Of course, at present it is closed due to the quarantine.

Visitantes inesperados

Aunque, no es mucho lo que puedo abarcar, desde las ventanas de mi hogar, soy privilegiada al tener una pequeña plaza al frente, porque sus árboles son la morada de muchas aves. Aunque estoy en medio de la ciudad, tengo el placer, de despertar con el trinar de una gran cantidad de aves. Es común verlos, hurgando dentro de las cestas de mis plantas de orquídeas, buscando pequeñas ramas, para construir sus nidos. Hoy tuve la suerte de fotografiar unos, que primero se pararon en el cable del tendido eléctrico, para luego, bajar al terreno a caminar un poco por la grama, espero les agradé las tomas que realicé de ellos.

Unexpected visitors

Although, it is not much I can cover, from the windows of my home, I am privileged to have a small square in front, because its trees are the home of many birds. Although I am in the middle of the city, I have the pleasure, to wake up with the chirping of a great number of birds. It is common to see them, rummaging through the baskets of my orchid plants, looking for small branches, to build their nests. Today I was lucky enough to photograph some of them, which first stood on the power line cable, and then went down to the ground to walk a little on the grass. I hope they liked the shots I took of them.

Bueno, por ahora me despido, espero que les guste lo poco que les mostré, de lo que puedo apreciar del mundo que me rodea, a través de las ventanas de mi hogar. Cuídense mucho y por favor, recuerden, si pueden quédese en casa, esa es nuestra mejor forma de luchar en contra de la pandemia.
