My Application Post for Community Curator

Hello and good day to all here in Steemit. This is @darthnava. I am applying for community curator in response to this post.

Most of you from Steemit may know me as the guy who got the most number of Steemit upvotes for a post last June 2017 asking for help for a delicate spine surgery. And because of God's divine intervention, I became part of Steem lore when the amazing Steemit community used their combined benevolence and power of upvotes to pay for my much needed thoracic spine surgery. I am now living in my second life.

Despite being born with Cerebral Palsy, my part-time job as SEO specialist and casual blogger has refused to let that disability slow me down. Somehow, my positive spirit, good sense of humour and engaging style have brought me some success and shown all of us what is possible if we work hard and do our best!

Okay, what Community or subject areas you would like to curate?

I am mostly interested in posts concerning history, geo-politics, space, pop culture, animals and video games. Those are the subjects I kind of read in random posts while I surf.

What's your experience and background on Steem ?

I got a present reputation of 70. This means I am a veteran around here. I have joined Steemit since July 2016. I have never abandoned it as a blogging platform when times were tough. I mostly keep a neutral stance when disputes flare out due to misunderstandings between powerful account holders.

I have helped some Steemit members in the past when they needed assistance in their posting issues.

Any languages you are fluent in?

I am fluent in English and the Filipino local languages of Tagalog, Cebuano and Ilonggo. If Steemit allows Philippine-related posts using those local languages, I can be of great help in curating those posts.

Why you think you would make a good curator?

I know the difference between a shit post and a good post. My experience as SEO specialist has enabled me to use various online tools to detect plagiarized content in posts.

I can and will Engage with the community an average of almost several times a week on a variety of funny, educational and interesting topics.
