Acts Of Kindness : || Welcoming the 17 Days of Ramadhan Fasting, Holding Iftar Together at Meunasah |
Hello, how are you all? |
---|
I hope all of you are always in good health, there are many good things you can do when the month of Ramadan arrives, whether from giving alms, helping others, or holding an iftar event together, to welcome the 17th of Ramadan here we and the community are holding an iftar together in order to help less fortunate people.
Location of Teungoh Krueng Pasee Village Every time we welcome the 17th of Ramadan, we always hold an event like this, and it has become a tradition passed down from generation to generation, especially in our place, because the 17th of Ramadan is a historic day for Muslims, namely the day the holy book Al-Quran was revealed to the people. Muslims and be a guide for us all.
Apart from that, doing good deeds during the holy month of Ramadan has double the reward. To welcome the 17th of Ramadhan, there are many ways that people do, whether by giving alms, making a kenduri, or other good deeds, so we held an iftar event together at the meunasah by making a kenduri, so Each community brings a kenduri to the meunasah in the form of empty rice, so the side dish or sauce has been provided in the meunasah, namely goat curry sauce. Before the event takes place here, we and the local community work together in terms of slaughtering the goat, until it is finished or has become curry. goat, then we distribute it to the community, each house gets a portion of goat curry sauce.
The aim is to distribute it to every house because it is for people who do not break the fast at the meunasah, such as mothers and especially women, so that they can also feel the togetherness of welcoming the 17th of Ramadan, so for men, both children and youth. until the adults all break their fast in the meunasah.
This event takes place every year, in the afternoon when the food is ready to be cooked then the food is served on plates and distributed to the people who come, apart from that we also provide cucumber ice as a drink to break the fast, here you can We conclude that every region or place still has ways to do good in the holy month of Ramadan, and here we really uphold Islamic cultural values.
Apart from that, we are still very united in living in society, helping each other, and hopefully things like this can continue to our children and grandchildren, because they are the successors for the future.
So, before the breaking of the fast arrives, here we and the community hold a prayer together, and the prayer is usually led by someone who understands a lot about religion, or with the priest's teacher, here it takes a few minutes, until the prayer is finished, and it doesn't take long. then the sound of the call to prayer sounded, and it was time to break the fast, here I and the community broke the fast and enjoyed food together, after we all finished eating, then we performed the evening prayer together in the meunasah.
And thank God, our event went smoothly, God bless you.Hopefully an event like this can happen every year, so that we can help each other, and always be united in society.
That's my article on this happy occasion, I hope it's useful, and thank you to all of you who have helped me a lot so far, and see you in my posts so far, thank you.
