"My Hobby"

It's a great pleasure to participate in this drawing contest organised by @steemhobbies in the steem for the Indonesia community. Before i proceed, let me invite @Josepha @ruthjoe @el-nailul and @ninapenda to engage in these hobby contests.

Drawing is one of my hobbies, so i choose to draw a lion working towards a crawling baby as a bodyguard.

Here are some of the drawing materials that i used in performing this drawing.

• pencil
• sharpener
• white paper
• eraser.
  

I started sketching out the baby head shape and her face. I didn't want to make a mistake when drawing. That's the reason I have to start with sketching. I sketched the eye, nose, and ear.

This is the time to sketch the body shape with the hands and the lags that she used to crawl.

At this point, I have to start drawing it boldly. I started from the head down to the body by following the sketching line.

Here is the final stage of pencil work, and see how the drawing is looking. Then, for me to prove the drawing is my hobby, i said let me draw a lion as a bodyguard for this baby.

I got a simple idea of drawing a lion 🦁 here's it i draw 5 in four places and connect the first 5 to the back to give me the back shape of the lion. Then i processed to draw the tail.

At this very point, you can see how i was able to draw the lags and the paw.

Moving on with the drawing, i have to draw the mane and figure 5 that is in the middle of the mane. That's the simple way to draw the face of the lion. Stay tuned and observe.

Now, I hope you can see how I'm converting the 5 to a lion face it looks simple.

   Here's the final of my pencil drawing.

At this stage, i have to introduce my coloured pencil to my drawing.

• Brown colour
• Yellow
• Black pencil shade
• Red

The brown was applied to the body of the lion and a little touched of pencil shade at the mane. Then the yellow and red colour with a touch of pencil shade was used to beautify the baby. Moving forward for selfie 🤳.
