Contest: Photography Hobby 4th Edition by @dhanux94

Good day my dear friends. How are you? I am very happy to participate in the contest organized by @waterjoe. I am thankful to him for holding this contest. I am subject to all conditions of this contest.

My mother and my brother and I decided to go on a pilgrimage to Anuradhapura. So we woke up excitedly at around 2.00 am the next day. Prepared food and clothes for two days. Since it is a little far from home, we prepared in an easy way and started the journey around 3:00 am. Although it was a sleepy time, we traveled with fun because of the love of travel.

Start our journey

Wherever I go, my hobby is to take photos. On the way, we got to see very beautiful scenic places. My brother parked the car at all those places and we left after a while.

On the way....

Like me, my brother also loves the nature. Therefore, stopping at beautiful places, we went along the way enjoying the wonders. On the way, we bought fruits from the shops and ate them.

Anyway, reached Anuradhapura city at noon. First we needed to find a rest room. Thanks to Google we found a room😅. After we rested we had lunch and washed up and went to Puja city to visit holy places and worship.

I feel lucky to see these places of ancient value. That was the day when I felt the most comfort in my life. It cannot be described in words. When we sit with Ruwanweli Maha Seya for more hours, all the problems in our mind are forgotten. There is such a wonderful place. My mother and my brother and I worshiped Ruwanweli Maha Seya for a long time with devotion. At that time, I felt great relief and ease. We visited several other sacred places in the city. You can see those places from the photos above. We then left Anuradhapura city, hoping to return one day.

Then we came to Kandy "Dhaladha Maligawa". By that time it was around 7 pm. I felt very calm at that time. It is very beautiful there. Kandy lake around the "Maligawa". As we walk around the lake, we can see the distant mountains and beautifully built buildings. I feel that the night light made it even more charming.

Nuwara Wewa

We were there just in time to show the relic. So we worshiped the relics very happily. It is something one rarely sees. Many people were staying there at that time to worship. It is not open 24 hours a day.

Dhalada Maligawa

We walked around the lake on our way. It felt very healthy when the cold wind hit the body. The environment is really beautiful. Very quiet. After spending a lot of time, we left for home. On the way, I saw a sweet shop. We parked the car there and bought "cup cakes". They are very tasty.

We came home in the morning. It was really the most beautiful pilgrimage ever. So I hope you will also enjoy reading our beautiful journey as an essay and seeing the photo.
