Drawing Explanation

---

There are probably very few people in our society who don't like roses. From children to middle-aged and elderly people, almost everyone loves roses.The red rose is a symbol of love. On various special days, roses have no equal. They are used on Valentine's Day, Mother's and Father's Day, weddings, anniversaries, or to welcome someone. This practice is common both in our country and abroad. People often gift roses to their loved ones to make the moment memorable. Roses come in several colors, and people usually choose the color they like most to gift to their loved ones. Rose is also one of my favorite flowers. I feel extremely happy when I receive a rose as a gift from my loved ones. Today, I’m going to share with you a step-by-step guide to drawing a rose. Since it’s one of my favorite flowers, I’ll try my best to create a beautiful piece of art. Without further delay, let’s get started.....

Step 1:

To start drawing, I gather the necessary materials. Then, using a pencil, I lightly sketch a blooming rose and draw three leaves below the flower.

Step 2:

Next, I use a gel pen to outline my drawing clearly. My drawing is now complete, and I will move on to the next step.

Step 3:

Start to color

In this step, I’ll start coloring my drawing. First, I select the rose's sepals at the bottom. I try to color each sepal nicely with a deep green, and I add a touch of yellow to the larger sepal on the left. I color the rose's stem deep green as well, leaving some space on the sides for other colors.

Step 4:

For the remaining white parts of the stem and sepals, I use a combination of yellow and light green.

Next, I color the three leaves. First, I use deep green on one side of each leaf.

Then, I use a combination of light green and yellow on the white parts of the leaves. I had to be cautious while choosing the color combinations here.From the picture, you can probably see that I’ve completed coloring the rose's stem, sepals, and leaves.

Step 7:

Now, I will color the petals. I started from the right side and used a beautiful red color for the petals.

Step 8:

For the white parts at the top of the petals, I used pink and added a light pink color at the bottom.

Step 9:

Next i use light green and yellow combination to color the lower part of the right-side petal, and then lightly added some pink at the bottom.

Now, I will color the left-side petal. Here, I also used a combination of light green and pink at the bottom and finished the petal with a light pink shade.

After finishing the drawing and coloring, I captured several photos of it and took a selfie with my drawing.
