Good day my fellow gamers. It's another round of one of my favorite steemit contests. Today I'll be reviewing Rise Of The Tomb Raider, this game was launched to mark the 20th anniversary of the game. Rise of the Tomb Raider received numerous awards and it a very interesting game.
It follows Lara Croft as she travels to Siberia in quest of the mythical city of Kitezh, all the while facing the paramilitary group Trinity, who is out to discover the city's promise of immortality.

Plot

Rise of the Tomb Raider begins out with protagonist Lara Croft and Jonah, one of her previous game's friends, venturing into the freezing Siberian highlands. We discover that Lara is on the hunt for an artifact and a forgotten city, two stories that her father swore were true before his sad death, through cutscenes and playable flashbacks. As the story unfolds, Lara is pitted against Trinity, a secretive group seeking the same historical findings for more sinister objectives.

The context in which these events take place has altered. Rise finds even more variety in Siberia's nooks and crannies than Tomb Raider did with a single island in 2013. And, because Lara isn't stranded this time, she might be able to take a brief yet pleasurable trip to another area.

Rise of the Tomb Raider not only features a wider range of locations, but those places also have more things to accomplish. There are narrative items diary entries and relics that piece together the region's past as well as secret environmental obstacles, boxes containing parts for new weapons, and currency caches that allow you to buy other improvements. There's also a comprehensive side quest system, with NPCs giving you chores to perform in the surrounding region in exchange for prizes if you fulfill them.

Gameplay and Weapons

You'll collect points as you advance through the game, which you can use to buy card packs. On cards, you may find Lara's gear and upgrades, as well as other variables that make opponents more difficult to beat or turn Lara into an unstoppable killing machine.

In comparison to the previous game, the crafting system, as well as the scope of the locales, has been greatly expanded in Rise of the Tomb Raider. Lara can now create a number of different types of ammunition and enhance her weapon arsenal at base camps while on the road. Despite the fact that I felt like I was creating at every chance, the resource system is a little sloppy; I spent the bulk of the game "full" on resources, but it provides another layer of reason to carefully explore areas rather than racing madly into the next plot point.

The verdict

One of my favorites. The plot, abilities, and side quests are all fantastic. The combat was quite interesting.
However, there are far too many wolves and creatures to kill, which may be frustrating at times. It's a game every gamer have to see.

Thank you @gamingsouls for organizing this contest.
