Shadow Hunting on my way to the grocery store.
It has been raining the past two days where I am in California, but the sun is out today. And what a beautiful day to go shopping for essentials.
It is a perfect day to take shadow photos too!
As I approached the parking lot of the food store, right in front of me was the shadow of the towering lamp post. I never noticed these lampposts until today. Each lamppost has four lights each. You guessed right... this parking lot is well lighted in the evenings.
Next is the shadow cast by a parked pick-up truck on the asphalt lot.
And of course, we need a shopping cart!
I have come to love shadow hunting. It has increased my awareness and appreciation of the simple things, such as the beauty of the shadows of ordinary, everyday objects. Sometimes, I find shadows thought-provoking!
