The game of life

Life has a way of teaching us several things as we grow up. It is through the experiences that we learn about the turbulances in the journey of life. Every day is not alike. Each day, we get up and face certain situations that may make or mar us for ever. I do agree that some days can be boring with the usual stuff and nothing in particular but when we look back, especially during troubled times, we will feel thankful for the boring days actually because it was spent in a normal manner.

Life is a game

Life is indeed a game and there are certain levels which we have to go through in order to climb higher.
As we proceed, we learn how to get brownie points by sharing and caring, by listening more to others, by resepcting elders, by genuinely being happy when others win and so on. As we grow older, we learn to see beyond our own selfish selves and welcome others in our little mind.

Have you observed older people becoming emotional very easily more than the younger ones? It is because they have mastered several levels of the gmae of life. As you age, you will understand what I mean.

Avatars

We all gain certain avatars as we grow up and get molded into certain types.

Observe yourself and study what type you were in school days

Were you the teacher's pet?
Were you the backbencher?
Were you the middlebencher who wanted to play X and O but wanted to look attentive when the teacher looked across?

If we look back on those days, it will help classify ourselves as certain types and as we grew into becoming youth, we had time and energy and health but unfortunately no money. That is true of most of us anyway and as we aged and got drawn into the work culture, we lost the freedom and got money but realized that responsibilities rose and personal 'me times' were less.

This is the game of life. Ironical but true.
