Nature's wonders
Look how the flower is using the stone as support. This flower is locally known as Mayflower and this is a file photo. The flower blooms only in the month of May and stands good for a week at least.
It is beautiful to look at. I am not sure if it is used commercially but it does indicate the dry season of the year.
Look at how the dewdrops are collected by the flower. It must have helped the plants underneath to stay hydrated. This is a small tree that flowers all through the year and it does not need much water. So, the tree is actually very good for the environment.
This is the snake gourd. A stone is tied after the vegetable grows a little bit so that it does not bend and be out of shape.
Otherwise, it will just bend and form into a snake shape. This vegetable is very good for health and also cures fevers.
These are file photos and we are hoping to get the seeds of good vegetables this year so that we can plant our own.
