Sparkling Wine Countdown to New Year's

My wife ran across this box at the grocery prior to Christmas. It's a pretty fun way to count down to the new year. It contains 7 half bottles of sparkling wine. You drink one each day, starting on Christmas Day, and the last one on New Year's Eve.

Here are a few of the bottles we've opened so far. I'm not generally a fan of dry wines, but this one was fruity enough to get away with it.

I've never had a wine that was meant to be served over ice. I've heard that in some countries/regoins putting ice in wine is fairly common, but it's not usually done in Northern Michigan. The only downside I can think of is that it would water down the wine over time. But since it didn't last too long, I never let it get to that point.

This was my favorite so far. Moscato is a wine I've had many times before and it always goes down easy. This was no exception. Sweet, light, and delicious.
