One could argue that the Knights Templar worry Christian organization with Traditions that were rooted in the faith but the Pope feared that he could not control the order aunt ordered their demise. Just a different view.

Quite possible. My grandpa was a Templar, but I never asked him about it. He liked Oreo cookies too... maybe a connection? :-)
