Beautiful Needle Dragonfly at the Bottom of the Mountains || Macrophotography

On this occasion, I am here again to entertain all of my friends by presenting some of the beauty of macro photography of insects that I found on the edge of a rocky river in a mountainous area.

Rhinocypha perforata, that's what it's called in scientific language, the locals give it the name of the stone needle dragonfly, in other areas it's usually just called the needle dragonfly, different from other dragonflies, the characteristic of this dragonfly is that its wings always stand upright when perched or resting.

In general, the needle dragonfly lives on the outskirts of watery places such as swamps, rivers and ponds, I found this dragonfly in a mountain river with a fairly complicated level of difficulty, because I had to go down a ravine to reach a rocky river, I managed to capture some photography using a smartphone and the help of a lens. my 35mm macro.

As we know dragonflies are very sensitive to human presence and movement, only a few pictures that I managed to capture, that too very slowly and very carefully.

Rhinocypha perforata is very attractive with its distinctive color and very unique wing shape, with extraordinary variants, as shown in the picture.
