Hello everyone on this platform, I am very happy for this contest. Some people have been hearing of physical exercise, but they don't really know anything about it or are ignorant of it. Some people also think it's does nothing to their bodies even if they do it. People create many misconception about physical exercise, which really need to be corrected or avoided. This contest is going to give an understanding of what physical exercise and its importance are.
Below is my entry about regular physical exercise and its benefits to our bodies.
Physical exercise by definition, is any physical activity that is carried out by individuals or a group to keep their bodies fit and healthy. Exercise is very vital and perform a very powerful role to our bodies. There are many different ways of carrying out physical exercise, and every style has it's side of effect on the body. Some of these exercises and their importance are;
- Namaste: In this type of exercise, one sits down with his or her legs crossed on each other and the palms help together, with the eyes closed. As this is done, one then begins to meditate. The importance of this style is that, it releases psychological stress and gives one a fresh mind to think, it also increases intelligence and brings good academic performance.
- Push ups: This type of exercise brings about the strengthening of the bones of the arms and including the spinal cord, and the waist as well.

- Paddle: This type of exercises uses bicycle, by paddling it for a long distance. This type of physical exercise is important because, it strengthens the muscle of the tie and also leads to the development of strong and healthy lungs for the good breathing, and also builds the lungs against respiratory diseases.

- Jogging: This type also brings about stronger bones and muscles and builds a healthy heart which can easily resist respiratory diseases and increases the body stamina in physical activities. It also brings about cardio vascular endurance; it strengthens the heart, making it healthy and easy to pump blood.
- Belly train: This type of exercise is good because, it helps who are either obese or wish to have flat tummies. This exercise is mostly focused on the tummy, whiles stretching the muscles, and strengthening the waist.

General Benefits of Regular Physical Exercise
- It makes the bones stronger, and hence preventing them from breaking or getting fractured easily. It also helps prevents osteoporosis during old age
- It also makes one physically active and strong
- It helps in the breakdown of calories
- It helps in the strengthening of muscles and also brings about easy cell division
- Regular physical exercise helps in the lowering of blood pressure, and controls the sugar level of the body and hence prevents heart attack
- It strengthens the lungs, and increases the total lung capacity, making one free from easily getting respiratory diseases such as ashma and bronchitis.
I then conclude by encouraging each and everyone to always try and go through some physical exercise at least five times in a week.
