So, I am going to share with us here my favorite fruit, why is my favorite fruit and the nutritional value of the fruit.

My favorite fruit

My favorite fruit is cucumber.

Why I choose cucumber as my favorite fruit

• It has a unique taste, although it is full of water.

• It is affordable here in my country.

• I mix it with other fruits and enjoy it as fruit salad.

• I enjoy it mostly on foods like jeloof rice.

• Easy to eat and enriched with water.

• It serves as food to me while eating it with groundnuts, etc.

NUTRITIONAL VALUES OF CUCUMBER

• Cucumbers are low in calories but high in water and several important minerals like

• Fiber

• Vitamin C

• Vitamin K

• Magnesium, etc.

So consuming elort of unpeeled cucumber promotes hydration and aids in weight loss.

Enjoying Cucumber With My Kids

• Cucumbers prevents the accumulation of free radicals because it contains antioxidants, flavonoids and tannins.

• Cucumbers contains about 96% of water. Which increases hydration and help one to meet his/her daily fluid.

• The fiber content in cucumber regulates bowel movement. So it simply means that cucumber prevents constipation and help maintain regularity.
