Photography at Faisal Mosque and Pakistan Monument, Islamabad.

Assalam-o-alaikum Dear Steemians!
I am fine and hope that you will be well and good.
Today, me and my friend planned to visit some important places located in Islamabad, Pakistan and to perform photography for excitement and enjoyment. So we started our journey from our home after taking breakfast. We hired a taxy from my home and reached at Faisal Mosque well in time.

Pray at tomb of M. Zia-ul-Haq:
As we reached out of taxy, we saw the tomb of Former Chief of Army Staff Mr.Zia-ul-Haq. He was killed in aeroplane attack in August 17, 1988 and burried near Faisal Mosque. His tomb is at left side of the mosque. We went there and recite Surah Fateha, then pray for him that his soul may might get rest in peace. This tomb is under the superviaion of government of Pakistan.

After that, we moved towards Faisal Mosque and entered in it. It is fifth largest mosque in the world. We were aware that this mosque was constructed in 1976 and funded by government of Saudia Arabia by King Faisal. We take beautiful pictures of some attraractive scenes. The mountains of Margilla Hills were near to the mosque and looking at the heart of the mosque. The beautiful construction and location of the mosque was so amazing that we got astonished by the art work done on the mosque to make it awesome.

The Faisal Mosque has the capacity of 3 lakh worshippers to offer their prayer at a time. It consists of 33 acres area. It has a beautiful and vast area at front of mosque that is used for prayers at special events such as Eid prayer. We offered prayer there and prayed for the prosperity of Muslim Ummah. The internal portion of mosque was very magnificent and attractive. The beautiful decoration of walls and carving of Quranic verses was showing the heart warming and pleasurable scenes. A portion of mosque was seperated only for women to offer their prayer.
Then we moved toward underground portion of the mosque. It was working under International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). There was a beautiful library and some class rooms for students. A fountain was running in center of this underground portion that was showing the glamorous view of water against blue color of surface under water. We made photography of all beautiful and valuable scenes present there.

Then we moved out from the mosque and feel the natural beauty of this area. The beautiful trees and shrubs of Margilla Hills were looking as high as sky from base of the mosque. There was a hostel naming Kuwait Hostel where the students of IIUI were residing. A vast area of parking was also present for visitors of the mosque.

Photography at Pakistan Monument:

After the visit and photography in Faisal Mosque, we moved towards Pakistan Monument. It is located on Shakarparian Hills in Islamabad, Pakiatan. We take tickets and enterd into the Monument. It was really nice looking and beautiful place of the Pakistan. The scenery around it was very attracive. We take our mobiles and started the photography. Pakistan Monument was constructed in an adorable manner and it is unique in its construction. The four large petals represent the four provinces of Pakistan. While small three petals represent minorities like Kashmir. There were carved the pictures of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and other heros of Pakistan. The poetry of Allama Muhammad Iqbal was also written on its petals.
Now we were hungry and tired so we went to nearby tuck shop and buy some packets of lays and cold drinks to fulfill the hunger.

Visit to the Museum:
There was a museum near Pakistan Monument. The flag of Pakistan was hanging on its roof. We take tickets and entered into the museum. The beautiful presentation of old used things and old traditions was there to see. The history of Pakistan was presented by the pictorial views which created an amazing interest. Moreover, the beautiful view of different things such as clothes and art work compel us to take photos. So we performed photography at different things in the museum.

Departure:
After completing photography, we moved outside of the Monument and hired an Uber for returning to home. Uber is the best taxy service in Islamabad right now. It provided us a luxury and comfortable journey from Monument to our destination. At the end of our journey, we take the dinner at home and gone for rest. It was a memorable day for us.
