Therefore, the Sessions Court of Amroha convicted both of them for the crime of murder in 2010 and sentenced them to death. Since then, she has approached the Allahabad High Court, the Supreme Court and the President for the last 11 years to pardon Shabnam.
He also appealed to the Supreme Court after reconsidering the lower court's verdict, but his appeal was rejected last year. However, the judicial committee said that Shabnam still has a way to reconsider his appeals and file a curative petition.
According to the judges, his death sentence cannot be carried out until all the doors of his law are completely closed. But it is already known that an application has been filed in the Amroh Sessions Court to fix the date and time of Shabnam's death. It is learned that Mathura Jail, built 150 years ago, is the only jail in the country where women are executed.
No woman has been hanged since India became independent, so the gallows remains unused. They are being fixed now. Prison authorities have begun arranging for him to be hanged, while boxers from Bihar have already been sent to the jail seeking the gallows.
