@disconnect, the disconnected rat, friend of thousands, and also my friend.
For 750 + 24 days, he’s been sniffing the world of Steemit looking for those contest posts and in between also quality posts. And if you are not good with calculations, that is 2,12055 years!

As a contest hunter - A big fat YES!
Just like so many Steemians, if I can save some time, I am in heaven. Our friend @ disconnect has made life so much easier for all of us. No longer do we have to search for contests.
It reminds me of an advertisement on National television in South Africa many years ago. In fact, if I remember correctly, it was in the early 1990s. It was the birth of an iconic phrase, "It is not inside, it is onnn top!"
This is our friend, and we don’t have to search inside anymore; he leaves it for us onnn.. top!
As a curator - A big fat YES!
To prove it, I would like to quote some words of his that I’ve kept for nearly 1.5 years.
When my day comes, I start searching the post for that particular time period. For example, 16.01 UTC to the time I start.. Now 9.30 UTC.
I will select the post to vote for and paste all the details into the spreadsheet.
I do this until my time ends (16.00 UTC)
At the end of the 24hrs, I must have 25 links from users and 01 links for myself.
Before the SC account gets to 100% (at about 99+%) I vote all I have selected and comment on them from the SC account.
Not only is he dedicated to the tasks at hand, but he is also supportive and fair at all times.

Umh.. This is a very good question. It will have to be somewhere where there is cheese, but definitely not at a cheese factory.
It will have to be right here at my home, 08 Ocean Drive, Ballito, South Africa!
Nothing will give me more pleasure than to share a bit of warm South African hospitality with him. It will be just the right place, as I am sure we will be chatting from sunset to sunrise, and I will make sure that there is just enough cheese.

The very first question I will ask him is, Where on earth are "Black Hole" and Nebula? I am sure I am not the only one who has seen his profile and wondered about it.
Next, I would like to know his age. Umh, I’ve got some idea from the conversations we had.
- If he is young, he is very wise for his age.
- If he is of middle age, he might be a married businessman, but one thing I do know is that he is not conventional but an extravert.
- Then if he is old age, nah… he is NOT old, and if I am wrong, I will eat the only church hat I have.
Let’s take a bet on this one. He is a young adult!
Boredom! Oh yes, I will for sure ask him if he never gets bored doing the same thing over and over again. On the other hand, he has done it more than 21 times. It is a habit by now, and breaking a habit is not easy.
I will definitely have to ask him some questions about the contests;
• What is the most interesting contest he has seen?
• Which contests annoyed him?
• Doesn’t he sometimes feel like taking part in one of them?
• What is his idea for the perfect contest on Steemit?
• What topic has been covered the most in a contest?
In other words, what I am actually trying to tell him here is to bring back the stats posts he posted not so long ago. #ilovestats

February 2021 was when I "met" our friend for the first time.
As a sort of "newbie," I was well aware of his reputation and good work on Steemit. I was asked by @ngoenyi if I didn’t want to join a curation team. I first said no, as I felt I was not long enough on the Steemit platform and I knew too little. She twisted my arm until I said yes. I then had to discover that our friend was part of the team I will be joining, and he will also be the leader. I was so scared that I would mess it up, but through his guidance, The7up was born.
Our friend @disconnect, @haidermehdi, @harferri, @kiwiscanfly, @klen.civil, @ngoenyi, @nahela, and myself. In my eyes, one of the best teams!
A month later, it even got worse; we applied for another month and were chosen for a second round of curating. This time, I had six fingers pointing at me to be the leader. Through his guidance, I became not only a leader for one month but also for a few months thereafter.
Would I like to work next door to him again? A big fat YES!
Oh gosh and now I have to wonder... is the rat a he or a she?
Today I can look back and say, not only did I work next door to @ disconnect but I had the privilege to be taught and be supported by him long ago, last week, this week, and will be supported for weeks to come.

You at it again ma, the way you publish your post keep me smiling till the end, all the questions you wish to ask is what I will love to hear from disconnect I will like to know if he is an old man or LoL. The fact is, that saying I like his work is an over statement his is fantastic.

Waooo @disconnect has really make work easily for us all, even myself I will like to work next door to him because I love the kind of person he is and I will like to be like him.
