These lovely birds do come around where I live all the time, you mostly see them in the morning. There's a couple at the junction that fries akara in the morning.

These birds are always seen around there because they come to eat the grains of akara the seller throws on the ground. I once asked the seller why they are that much and he said the birds weren't much.

That the owner had 4 of them and they reproduced and that the owner wanted selling them off because there were relocating, so they needed someone to cather for them.

Unfortunately, the owners relocated but they wouldn't follow the owner. So, every morning when the akara seller comes out to start his business,he's greeted by these lovely birds.

They fly around the neighbourhood, most times in the evening, they all come out and the kids in the environment plays with them. They try to catch the birds but they don't get to catch them. They walk around where people are but they are difficult go catch.
