My entry to "Monuments of my city" by @strawberrry

I almost forgot to post my entry to this. Thank goodness I still have time. For more information about this contest, please visit this blog by @strawberrry.

The photo above is part of the wall at the entrance of the botanical garden here in our city. This is a new rock wall sculpture which shows sculptures based on the culture of the Cordilleras.

This is the whole wall and this is just the right side of the entrance.

Let us focus on some of the details of this wall mosaic.

Kaledjo/Calajo is an Ibaloi word for welcome.

These look like Cordilleran women based on their skirts but the upper garment is modern.

This is how traditional houses look like. They are made of wood and nipa.

Gongs are part of musical instruments that are used in the traditional dance. This dance is part of every event like weddings, celebration and even death.
