Good day all of my friends. How are you all? I hope you are all well. I'm fine too. I am Kavi De Silva. I am going to participate in STEEM PLANTS contest among you and today's contest is organized by @strawberrry who organizes this contest every time & I thank @strawberrry for organizing such an entertaining and valuable contest.

Bougainvillea flowers are a type of flower that loves a lot of sunlight. This bougainvillea is a very suitable flower for the garden as well as for garden decoration. Bougainvillea can be seen in many colors today.

There are two types of bougainvillea. The older type grows as large vines and the newer varieties grow as small shrubs.

The old variety flowers all year round. And you can see big bunches of flowers. Only a limited number of colors can be seen. But new varieties are available in many colors. These can be made into shrubs that are only a few feet tall.

This type of flower can be grown in any part of Sri Lanka except in areas with cold climate. Flowering and spreading are not very fast in cold climates.

Bougainvillea is a thorny shrub that is very popular not only in our country but also in many countries.
