Greetings friends of the platform and @strawberry for your initiative in the Steemit Contest Community, where you give us the opportunity to create and participate in various contests and in this one in which we share the monuments of our cities.
Although there is no historical review of this fountain, only that it was created under the government of General Pérez Jimenez, like many important works in Venezuela.
It is an aquarium type fountain, which can be enjoyed 24 hours a day. In the 60's and 70's there was an ice-cream parlour named after it: LIGHT SOURCE , where the family enjoyed delicious ice-creams while the fountain illuminated and the water rose and fell in a spectacular way.

Although it is a fountain, it also acts as a roundabout leading to various places in our city Bolivar-Venezuela where it is located: Av. 5 de Julio, Av. El Porvenir and Av. 19 de Abril.
For many years it lost its Light and Shine, until December 2021 when the private company gave it back to it and until now it is found with small gardens around it and its shining golden fishes that invite to remember beautiful moments lived through its Light and Water.
It was a pleasure to share with you this beautiful monument of my city. I hope you enjoy it.
