Club 100// Contest// Photos Of Feathered Friends Week 49 - Our Neighborhood Crows

Greetings bird lovers. Let's welcome week 49 of this exciting contest, the Photos Of Feathered Friends, hosted by @strawberrry. Check out the contest post and rules here. Join us and invite friends as well.

It might be a little bit late for this entry, I think, but I hope this can still make the deadline. My photos for this week are all about these black and beautiful birds living at the empty space behind our house. They are crows. This is how the empty space looks like.

See those trees? That is where they live and since the time we first moved in to our house upto now their numbers have grown. They have also learned how to adopt to their environment. Instead of just perching on the trees, they usually spend their time perching on rooftops, rafters, downspouts and eaves of houses in our area. Everytime I take a walk outside the house I always look around and try to take pictures of them. I don't have a sophisticated camera. I only have a cell phone camera which makes it very hard to capture them. But I still try to this day and here are some of my shots of them over the years.

The last photo is my entry to this contest. It was a very lucky shot and the timing was perfect. After seeing the crow, I had a feeling it was going to take off and aimed my camera at it. When it flew, I clicked and got my best crow photo of all time.
