#club5050 // Сontest STEEM PLANTS : Week #7:The Jasmine Plant

Jasmin is a tropical plant, so this can handle hot and humid temperatures, but too cold during winter is difficult for its survival. However, the Jasmine plants need water aplenty, especially when it's blooming season. So you should always keep the soil moist during summer.
I have seen the park managers doing a proper pinching and Pruning of these Jasmine plants to keep them in good health, especially during new growth on a jasmine plant. They remove any dead foliage or tangled stems and diseased areas of the plant.
How to have your own Jasmin plant
The simplest and best way to have a jasmine plant of your own is to use cuttings. The cutting should be about three inches in length, and it should have two to three sets of leaves at the top of the cutting. You can plant it in a soil mix that contains peat moss, sand, and other types of soil that drain well. Cover the plant with a plastic sheet for better growth.

You need to take good care during the winter of the jasmine plant
Jasmines don't need much sunlight, water, and fertilizer during winter until the temperature drops below 40 degrees Fahrenheit so your plant is comparatively safe without much care.
As we all know the Jasmin plant smells good when it is in bloom, Jasmine is perfect, especially at night. You can even plant them in an indoor space like your balcony, verandah or courtyard.
