It seems to me that there are larger woodpeckers in your forests.
And this guy even flew to my feeder outside the window last winter.
I posted posts in winter.
We have the northern flicker here, but not so much around my house as there are few trees. Perhaps when my trees grow bigger I will get some visitors.
