Monuments of my cit - Fotan of the architect Alexander Plamadeala in the Stefan cel Mare park, Chisinau, Moldova.

It's nice during the winter to remember the hot summer days that I spent in my hometown the capital of the Republic of Moldova in Chisinau.

Yes when I say the word heat it means that there is a reason to look for a shady place in the city or even better to be near the fountain and, sitting on a bench with my family enjoy the coolness of billions of water aerosol camels which is carried by a light wind for tens of meters around the fountain.

One of these fountains is located in the very heart of the capital in the park named after Stefan cel Mare the Moldavian sovereign which is quite understandable although earlier during the Soviet era the park was given the name of Alexander Pushkin who was only in exile in Moldova and not very her loved, and he did not like Chisinau based on his phrase - Chisinau it's Moldovan and stuffy here.

Only communists could humiliate the Moldovan people in such a way by naming a city park after this clown.

The fountain that you see in the photographs is magnificent its structure resembles oriental architecture as I understand it it is made of bronze because when the water stops spouting from the fountain it becomes covered with a green coating which indicates the presence of copper.

This is the second version of the fountain from 1960 the architect of which was Alexandra Plamadeala and the first version was built in 1927 they were probably identical.

At all times there are many people who find peace and comfort here.

Each element of the fountain is a masterpiece this is my opinion.

A lot of work and creative thought has been invested in this work of art of the sculptor and architect.

I am sure that my parents my grandparents stood in front of this fountain and felt the same as me coolness on a hot day and surprise at what they saw because this fountain surprises with its luxury.

But everything comes to an end and every walk comes to an end I hope that if you are hot now your soul has become a little more comfortable.
