I hope you all enjoy your time. In this article I am going to share with you the paper handbag I made for Heading Handmade #9/2022 organized by sister @strecoza.

Ingredients required

✳️ A Yellow board
✳️ A Brown A4 paper
✳️ A red A4
✳️ a pencil
✳️ A semicircle
✳️ A ruler
✳️ A bottle of gum
✳️ Scissors

Method of making ...👜

First I drew 3 circles of 7cm radius from the yellow A4 board using a semicircle. Then cut out the circles and set aside.

Then I cut a 28cm × 6cm rectangular section with the same yellow board as above. Then I measured 1cm on both sides with a pencil. I then placed the footprint along the pencil road marked 1cm and named it as follows. I cut small triangles on both sides and set it aside.

Then cut the triangle lengthwise and glue the rectangular section along the edges of the cut circle. Then I cut most of the circle and cut another circle to the same measure.

Now the pocket part of the bag is done. Now all you have to do is put a lock on the bag.

I put the rest of the circle inside the bag as much as possible and measured it. I marked another 4cm to that measure and cut it over 4cm.

Then I hung two tassels on the bag. I made it red and cut two straps to hang it in black. I glued it to the inside of the compartment I made to cover the bag.

Finally I tied a brown ribbon around the bag. For this I cut 12 strips of 20cm × 1cm size from brown A4 paper and glued 2 long strips of 6 strips each.

To do this, I held the two straps vertically and folded the straps alternately vertically. As I continued to do so, I glued the strap on my handbag. Then I made a tick out of the bag and made a heart out of it.
