Steem Salon: I invite YOU to join the discussion
Hello everyone! With our community in its current state, I think it is of the utmost importance that we discuss philosophical ideas in a productive manner. As a result, I have created the Steem Salon community: a community for symbiotic philosophical discussion about miscellaneous topics. I invite you to join, and start and participate in discussion of philosophical topics. Here is the description and the rules and guidelines:
Description
In the 17th and 18th centuries a Salon was a popular form of gathering in order to enhance philosophical understandings and promote intellectual fields ranging from art to science.
Steem Salon exists with the goal of establishing an online (Steem based) community where this kind of interaction can once again flourish.
Rules and Guidelines
In order to remain substantive, all posts should generate some form of philosophical discussion, enhance knowledge on a philosophical topic, or share a new piece of philosophically-based art or literature.
Please try to limit yourself to one or two article(s) a day, and instead participate in the community through substantive comments that illustrate your own opinion or thoughts on the subject of an article.
Please feel free to leave as many comments as are necessary to generate discussion, and to bring a greater understanding of your thoughts and ideas on a topic.
I reserve the right to alter these rules as the need arises.
