Una de las cosas mas importante y fundamental del béisbol es el bate, al principio de los año ochenta especialmente en la época del inicio de la creación del juego de béisbol, Emile Kints fue quien diseño y moldeo el primer bate en mil ochocientos noventa, dándole el nombre de banana bat, con curva y de forma champiñon, de hay una compañía llamada wright también crearon un bate, pera esta fue diferente ya que le agregaron un doble nudo en la empuñadura.
