Focus: Why is it so important to keep it?
Every day we need to do a lot of activities. According to our need (or our will), sometimes it is necessary to do more than one thing at the same time. This makes us feel more productive and useful throughout the day, but is this the best way to do everything that needs to be done daily? Honestly, I belong to the team that prefers to do less and deliver my activities in the most efficient way possible ... But always looking at what I can do beyond that.
No matter what type of activity, to perform it you need to stay focused... A word that is very simple in its writing, but at the same time, it is also very big in its meaning. Staying focused on what needs to be done requires time, care, attention and for all these reasons (in addition to many others) that staying focused is always essential to the success of activities and for us to realize that we are doing things right.
Despite this, we always insist on doing many activities at the same time because often the daily pace of our lives imposes this on us. This is an attempt to optimize what needs to be done and at the same time, "earn" extra time to perform more tasks and have a greater positive balance at the end of the day. However, sometimes less is more... And unfortunately, in the middle of this path many people do not see it.
In many moments the best decision is to do less things (and do everything right, in the time that is appropriate), than to do many things and not finish anything (and still collect some flaws that will harm you... either professionally or personally) . The wisest say that haste is the enemy of perfection... But even if perfection does not exist, we must always insist on doing our best and for that, demanding a little less than we can do is the most correct decision .
You are very right my friend, sometimes less is more and I think it applies to many things, nothing in excess is good, and I think the important thing is to do things well and achieve goals, no matter if you do one thing at a time the important thing is to finish it in the best way. Some feel bad about not being able to do what others do, but as long as we believe in our abilities the rest should take a back seat.
People must learn this.
Thanks for another great comment, @franyeligonzalez.
love this frase
Whenever I manage to stay focus in an activity I guarantee success, the times I lose concentration, things do not go well
Concentration is a key-point on it.
Hi @wiseagent
One often wants to do so many things that one ends up getting saturated. I think the logical thing to do is to get organized in the smallest way and give priority to what you have, because that is the way to be able to focus and dedicate the time that you deserve, without being aware of other things.
As always, very good reflection.
Organization is something essencial in most of cases.

I agree with you, dear friend, staying focused is very important, but we must have a good planning of tasks as well so we don't saturate ourselves, since many times (and I do) we want to do simultaneous activities and it doesn't end well. In any case, thank you very much for sharing, very good post.

Yes, knowing how to organize everything in our life is always very important.
Thanks for stopping by, @lenonmc21.
Very good post regarding the approach that should be taken to perform different activities. It is essential to take this into account, because for example what we do as a project is trading, if you don't have it, you can have a very bad time in the financial markets, so this way the approach is important for everything.

I think it's all about organization and concentration, @erarium.
Hello @wiseagent.
Focus is very important, when we focus it is because we are submitting our mind to a concentration that requires visualizing one or several aspects that are important for our benefit. As you explain it very well, focus also helps us to determine how many tasks we can execute optimally, because it is preferable to focus on a few activities but to have them all done well.
Yeah, in this case... Our mindset is extremely important. Once we work our mind to handle with many tasks, I think the success can be greater.
Thanks for your comment, @carlos84.
I like to do one thing at a time completely before I move on to the next and that is one reason why I always have to argue with my friend who just pumps into my activity and ask me to help him with something I cannot refuse, it is always pretty annoying.
