Poloniex Trollbox | Live user chat
In my previous post, I have written an article about why you should choose Poloniex and 05 factors to consider before choosing the correct one. However, the more I have done my research I have seen that Poloniex had a bad reputation with customer service.
So, I wonder what went wrong with this exchanger, was it true or was it some sort of rivalry attack on marketing? Some even have reviewed that they have not been contacted by Polonix for almost for 90days.
How can we trust such an exchanger! So I dig deep. To my surprise it was correct 😱
But hang on..
Poloniex was one of the most famous platform and the largest altcoin exchange in terms of volume back in 2017. With growing popularity, many new users were signed up and trading volumes got skyrocketed.
” Since January, we’ve seen an increase of more than 600% active traders online and regularly process 640% more transactions than we did merely 4 months ago.”
Poloniex couldn’t scale up the operation in the face of heightened demand. They have had an amazing facility for its users “TROLLBOX” (live user chat). This trollbox had always been filled with support tickets and become a “Complaining Area” due to support tickets tacking too long to get resolved. Finally, Poloniex moderators had to suspend the service indefinitely.
So, what is this “Trollbox” & why it is important?
First of all, we have to understand that the trollbox is not a forum for support. If you need any support Poloniex website has this support section for you. Make sure to scroll down a little bit and then this button will appear at the bottom right corner.
Trollbox is the place where its users can come together and chat about the latest topics in cryptocurrency blockchain and their trading experiences. It’s a real-time chat room. Since users are from all over the world they can share experiences, stories and may even make friends. So, it’s basically a tool for the people who are passionate about crypto and a love for Poloniex.
Poloniex has evolved. Trollbox is back! 😎
They have identified what mistake they have done and they brought the service back in operation in 2020 with some Trollbox Community Standards.
No hate speech
No spamming
No Personal Information
No attempts to manipulate the market
Language
Control of Links
Keep it legal
Where can we find it?
Very simple. Log into the Poloniex exchanger. From the main page go to "EXCHANGER" on the top left right, there you will arrive at coin trading page and find the troll box at the bottom right hand side click "Trollbox".
Click "CREATE USERNAME"
You will see Poloniex community standards or rules, check it and you may agree in order to proceed by clicking "I AGREE".
Create the user name and click START TROLLIN'
Enjoy the service.
Sometimes it's very important when placing a order or taking a decision. We can get a idea about what others thinking.. we can sometimes sense what's going to happen if we actively live in it while trading.
I see it as a very good feature and make you feel alive while trading...
True, it's feel like you are in good hand while trading, because you can chat with who are experienced and may be they can share some different point of view.
This is a great place to learn and watch the conversations going on, If you have any questions you can always go to that box and ask it to the moderators , they are really good and they really help you, there are a lot really strict and quick rules in this box like if you behave badly you will get along is like detention and they will lock you out of the box for a day or an hour just depends on the markets and here you can just see a lot of people talk about coins.
It's good that they have strict rules, I think they have learnt a lesson from their previous experience.
Many traders who are familiar with the exchange tend to lurk around the trollbox area and discuss pertinent issues of the exchange.
At times, you might get to learn one or two things from these traders.
