One thing we cant avoid in business but can control is conflict, conflict serves as an unwanted plant among business that can just grow any time without giving us any notice. Once there are two or more people in a business, there are times they will be friendly together, and some times, they might disagree on things which might lead to things that can affect your business or company but how do you deal with this kind of situation.

As a business owner, you might be thinking it is just a disagreement, you don’t need to interfere, they should be able to sort it out among themselves, but what if they cant, it can lead to malice or turn out to be more worse that than, at times you intervening is the best thing you can do to help because conflict can open up things you need to realized about your business especially issues you didn’t realize is going on. Things you need to do are

First of all, you need to welcome the conflict, sound weird but true, you cant find solution to things you don’t accept is happening, like they use to say, accept your problem (conflict) and finding the possible way to sort it out. At times conflict can really be a good things and a means of knowing who your really workers in this kind of situation. How will they be able to manage and resolve this kind of situation, and also you can serve as mediator and help them to sort it out before it escalate and destroy things.

Do you know communication matters during this kind of situation, this is one of the best way to solve their conflict, let them talk to themselves and be able to sort things out whether alone or you acting as an intermediary, they should be given enough time to say what is bothering them, what lead to the fight and always try to prevent them from further attack during this period, learn to listen actively to what they have to say and don’t judge one against the other so they wont keep malice, instead try your best to build an agreement between them, this can help a lot and even serve as a foundation for the to start a relationship with. They have a common ground.

The last thing you need to do is to advice them, let them know how bad it is keeping malice and how it can affect them as an individual or the company as a whole. Let them allow love to keep reigning and be united as one.
