Project Hope friends - Don't forget that SteemAuto has left the building!
Hello there friends here at Project Hope. I am so busy doing all sorts of things, that I don't always notice and catch up on things happening around here in the big world. But, I have had a feeling that something has been wrong with the auto-voting on Steemit in the last days.
Have you used @SteemAuto? Maybe you have been following the Project Hope curation trail, or maybe just been automatically voting on posts made by certain users? Well, maybe you have noticed, or maybe you haven't, but SteemAuto shut down its operations on Steemit a couple of days ago. As a result, no more auto-voting is done, and the curation trails also seems to have been destroyed because of that. This is a great loss for each and every one of us, and maybe especially for all of us who have been following the Project Hope curation trail and more.
This will now require us to pay more attention to the platform, and it will require us to do more voting ourselves.
I do believe that @crypto.piotr and the rest of the #ProjectHope team will come up with a good solution to this in the near future, in order for the voting power to be used once again to encourage and reward those publishing high quality content in the Project Hope community here on Steemit.
Once again, don't forget about this, because those of us earning a passive income on Steem (by voting and curating) will lose quite a lot as all those automatic votes suddenly stop going out, and all those curation trail votes suddenly stop hitting the road.
Do you know anything more about this? I would love to hear from you!
I just had a chance to read your post @unbiasedwriter
Thanks for that reminder. Lack of steemauto does make things harder for so many people out there.
I'm working closely with @steem-supporter as he is trying to re-create steem-auto.
Cheers, Piotr
I think beta.steemvoter can be a good solution.as long as they allow limiting the amount of s as in steenauto, to be able to recover it Another important option is to have your own system programmed, I think that the people of @steembasicincome have it, not I'm sure of it, but it would be nice if Piotr will talk to them and surely very powerful ties and alliances would be created, that's my suggestion
Our code is available open-source, but is very custom to how our program runs. A public alternative to Steemauto is https://steemrewarding.com/ which is by the same developer that did our customization.
Would really need good solutions here at Steem. Would be a pity if all the resourceful and talented programmers and visionaries went on to work with Hive only... hopefully, the 100 Days of Steem can come up with some great stuff as well.
It's quite sad @steemauto is shutdown for now even though Upvoting was usually made easy with it's features. Does anyone knows the reason for their decision that made them leave Steemit? This is really gonna affect lot of steem users and steem community who manually curate contents easily using steem auto and I hope @crypto.piotr and the team will surely find a way of rewarding quality contents on the platform.
Thanks for sharing this great post with love from @hardaeborla and I hope you have a great day ahead 💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️
They didn't like the way things went with the new Steem fork, so they didn't want to remain on the platform. Think that was the sole reason.
I hope that a good solution will avail soon as it does take a lot of effort to read all the posts and manually curate and the curation trail was a great feature.
Hello,
Steemauto has closed it's steem service after the recent HF. It will not open again.
Thanks @unbiasedwriter
Your welcome... Important to help one another, so that we support, and since I know many people also make a passive income by voting and following curation trails, I find this to be very important and useful information!
I have also noticed it and I feel it will be good to have the steem team work on creating another auto voting system.
I hope they will get a good solution up and running soon!
I never used it so it doesn't affect me very much. It's good to know though!
It is really useful, at least if you want to show continous support to certain authors, or if you want to join curation trails and vote for content supported by projects such as Project Hope, OCD, Gems, or other communities.
@achim03 explained a new alternative to steem auto already, I hope that feels the void and even render a better service.
