It is not the first pandemic or the most deadly that this world has seen, I think that beyond the bad things the world took a leap forward, it is unfortunate the deaths but if we compare for example in Venezuela in 2018 how many deaths from protests or 2017 how many from crime we will see that the number is lower without mentioning the heart problems associated with poor nutrition, I think if it is put in a context all people will be able to evaluate and feel less anxiety.
