Becoming A Reliable Person
People will always give more responsibilities to someone who they know is reliable. And such a person continuously grow in his field of work, because people can see that he is solid, and he always delivers as promised.
In contrast to someone who has created a reputation of being irresponsible. The longer you relate with such irresponsible people, the less you trust them with anything. Because you see how gullible they are, and easily distracted, you'd hardly want to work with them.
And when people notice that a person is continuously irresponsible and unreliable, they'll start distancing themselves from such a person - and it's for very good reason. The fact is that you don't need irresponsible people in you life, and neither should you be an irresponsible person.
The question now is - how do you become more reliable? You do this by making sure that you finish every task that you accept to do. Don't make excuses, so long as you took it upon yourself to do the task, and perhaps you shook hands with the person - just get it done.
When people know that you stay committed to your tasks, and don't relent until you've finished it - they'll sort you out when they have even more pressing tasks. And when people start to rely on you, because you're reliable - then you start to earn good money for being reliable.
