How I Dropship - My eBay eCommerce Journey
Hi Steem Users,
Today I wanna talk about how I dropship to (currently) make £400+ extra per month with only spending 1-2+ hrs of work per day.
Before I get started:
- eBay: The site I list all of my items to sell.
- Amazon: The site I order the customer products from once they have made their purchase.
- Lystr: The site all my listings are managed on to give my listings up to date prices on items (including Amazon daily deals)
Daily Work:
In the morning I go on Lystr and 'ALWAYS' do a Price and Stock update to make sure my prices are up to date with current Amazon prices, (with my added profit percentage on top) (you can edit your profit percentage on Lystr) I do this on average 3 times a day (takes around 1 minute to do).
I do my current sales, to do the sales I see what item has sold on my eBay store, I click on ''My Orders'' and it displays the product code (ASIN) which can be copied and pasted into Amazon to bring you directly to the product that the customer has ordered on eBay. I purchase the item on Amazon (with Amazon Prime: Free Delivery) and have it sent directly to the customer's address. Once I have ordered the product I let the customer know on eBay that it's been dispatched and I tell them the ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival)
I check my eBay stock to see what items are ''Ending Today''. I remove the items ending soon that have under 60 views during the month they were listed (you don't have to do this, I do it to allow me more room to add fresh listings that will have a better chance of selling).
I check my Out of Stock listings. Lystr set listings that are out of stock on Amazon all to the same amount, example: all my listings that aren't in stock on Amazon are set to £13, so I know which listings to remove from my ''Out of Stock''. All of the remainder listings, Lystr can't track them for some reason (Personally I don't know why?).
Some days I source new products to list to my eBay store. I do this by going onto Amazon and searching for products I think will sell and using a Chrome extension called 'YakPal' which grabs the product ASIN which can then be copied and pasted into Lystr to add the product. Then I upload about 100 products max a day to my eBay store using 'eBay File Exchange'. and then those 100 products will become live listings on my eBay store (ready to sell).
Finally I do the other sales that I have throughout the day.
Yes, that's all, yes sometimes can take longer than others if you have difficult customers or need to process returns (which are free), but most days, it only takes around 1-2hrs.
If you would like to start an eBay eCommerce business with only spending 1-2hrs per day on your PC/Laptop let me know and I will get you started up.
