How to start a business: Basic guild

I was chatting with my cousin of recent when he was talking about my post on business and the rest. He said he never knew I am so good when it comes to the business field. Truth be told, forget those succeeding in the business field, there is one thing that I always say, there is no best person when it comes to the business life. We just have people who have experience.

As we were discussing, he went ahead to ask me that I should tell him the guild on how to start a business. When he asked this question his friend that was with us was just laughing. I asked him why he was laughing and he said how can my cousin asked such question. I asked him why he said such thing, he said it was a funny question because he was surprised to see him asking the basic on how to start a business. He say why will somebody ask how a business can be started. I told him in life, there is nobody that knows everything, it is good you are inquisitive, it is better you ask than to pretend that you knows it all and ends up embarking on the business and later you will failed woefully. This is simply a world of advice.

Now back to the good question we have here, if you want to embark on a business, you should know that there is a basic step that you need to embark on. This basic step differs from individuals to individuals. But with all that in place the essence of this is to get to the final result i.e starting the business. Now to start a business, these are the basic guild;

• Know the business you want to embark on. By saying you should know the business you want to embark on, I mean you should know the business you want to deal on fully. This should be your field i.e what you have basic knowledge on. Don't embark on business just because your friend told you he his making millions from the business. If you don't have any basic knowledge of such business, you will end up failing instead of making gains just like he is doing. So please know the type of business you want to embark on before you even think of business.

• Name your business: I have seen some person who go into business with no name involve. Well, the normal way it should be done is that you should have a business name. Just imagine a human being not having a name, how are you going to refer to him, this is while a business name is vital.

• Embarking on market survey: The essence of this is to know more about your business. While embarking on survey, you can visit one locality or the other to see if what you are about selling is needed in that environment. If you are into children wears and the area you want to sell your items at have lots of child rate, there is possibility that you will make good sales there. If you are into housing materials an the area you want to use as your warehouse is a rapid developing area, there is every possibility that you will make sales there.

• Fund your business with good capital: Any amount you want to use in starting your business is good but truth be told that, the higher you invest, the higher the return. Big capital will give you an edge as you will be able to give your business a proper face. Somebody that invested millions into his/her business will love to make his business environment lovely, compared to some body struggling to invest thousand. With good capital you will be able to invest into your business more, compared to those who invested thousand.
