Splinterlands is a new addition to the gaming console to benefit from the NFT world. Formerly known as Steem Monsters, the Game runs on the Hive blockchain and is a part of the trading game. In Splinterlands, players fight monsters to win in-game prizes.

How Does Splinterlands Work?

Splinterlands is a platform that provides its users who are card lovers who love to play, trade, and earn in-game prizes from their desktop and mobile phones. The game currently offers 283+ cards that players can combine to increase their character skills and become stronger.

There are seven statistics that describe how good a player is: speed, weapons, mana costs, and different types of attacks, including scope, magic, and melee. Splinterlands has various "groups" also known as "Splinters."

All cards are part of a specific group: Fire, Earth, Dragon, Death, Life, Water, and Neutrality (mercenaries). To get the most out of other players in the Splinterlands, there are a few Rarities and skills.

Splinterlands offers a variety of in-game activities for players to participate in and receive daily rewards. There are several types of play that include quest, standard game, and tournaments.

Players participate in the game at many different levels to earn card packs, unusual discovery, magic, and something very different Black Power (a type of digital currency used to purchase items in the in-game store).
