Hello, great minds! In today's ever-changing and fast-paced world, taking a break from the hustling and bustling of daily life is crucial to recharge and unwind. Today, I had a rare opportunity to visit a tourism reservation center nestled in the very heart of Lagos State, Nigeria. This remarkable Journey of mine allowed me to see the beauty of nature and I was able to immerse myself in the beauty and excitement of the surroundings. From the canopy walk to the playful monkeys, giant tortoises, and majestic peacocks and meeting new friends who are from another part of the world who have to be a part of this enchanting reservation in Lagos city, Nigeria

The canopy walk and the playful monkeys

As I embarked on the journey, there was a feeling all around my being. I sensed the deep anticipation that coursed through my veins. The canopy from what I presumed it to be is made of galvanized steel at the base while ropes were weavened together to form handrails to prevent the feeble from falling off the bridge. The bridge stretched out before me, with its unstable nature adding an extra thrill to the adventure. With each step, my heart raced, and my senses were alerted. The panoramic views of the lush greenery were awe-inspiring. It was as if nature was beckoning me to come to be a part of its grand design. Walking on the bridge, I felt some sort of connection with the environment. This didn't happen until I began to alleviate the fear that was earlier ravaging my heart. I soon began to walk majestically on the ever-unstable rail without having to touch them. There is this funny thing I found interesting when I was walking through the bridge. It is the sound of another fearful tourist who is screaming out his lungs in response to fear. I overheard him saying, he would never try it out again in his life. LOL

As I ventured further into the reservation, the mischievous chatter of monkeys filled the air. These nice creatures added some sort of liveliness to the already thrilling adventure. Observing them in their natural habitat was a sight to behold. Their acrobatic and playful nature captured the hearts of both children and adults. It was a humble journey reminding me that both man and animals are interconnected in this vast tapestry of life.

Getting down from the canopy walk, I discover a giant tortoise slowly making its way through the reserve center. This also reminded me of bedtime stories about the wisdom that this creature possesses. Their a lot one needs to learn from the nature of toitorse. Maybe I will do a write-up in this regard to this some other time. Nearby, I saw a group of peacocks displaying their beauty with their vibrant colors.

Nature is beautiful

Through my journey, I couldn't help but notice how God's radiant light shone through nature. This reminds me of Nathaniel Bassey's song - " In the Beauty of Nature You Shine All Around"
The breathtaking landscapes, the coexistence of wildlife, and the tranquility that enveloped me were a reminder of the miracle that unfolds the natural world.

My visit to the reservation center was a transformative experience. It reminds me of the importance of unwinding from the stress, the hustle and bustle of life, and appreciating nature's wonders.
