Mocked, Scared, Stucked

For those years television was revolutionary invention. Huge event. Greatest actors and actresses of my country made a movie which name is "Vizontele".

In one of the scene, sheriff like authority in the village explains television with this sentences: "Don't you listen Zeki Müren(Turkish singer) in the radio? Now you will see him at the same time!"
One villager replies back "Will Zeki Müren also gonna see us? That wont be appropriate, ladies walk around with lingeries".

On the other hand, nowadays there are too many post-apocalyptic movies and series. Serious amount of these productions use the "Lack of Technology" topic. Each of us can say 3 technology free series without hesitation.

This 2 examples are obviously shows that we started to scare deep inside our sub-conscious. Same topic that we were mocking 15 yeats ago. Of course these too comparative examples do not have a conclusion. So separe but so similar.

In DSM-5,2013 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) there is no social media or technology addiction as a subtitle. But we belive that in DSM-6 social media/technology addiction will take it's place.

First we mocked: Every country has that morning women programs.
Then we scared with it's absence.
Now our children can't eat withoutwatching things.
