Since the digital dollar is not a cryptocurrency and it is not hosted on the Blockchain, it is still under the control of the FED. And as such, will also be backed by the same principle of the FIAT dollar. My thoughts though.
Well, let's just keep our fingers crossed and see how it will play out.
