In this new year, as a marketer or business owner, there should be a plan you need to put in place to help your business to grow. The truth is; if you repeat the same format you used last year without upgrading, updating or improving anything, the best you can come up with will be the result of last year. If you need an upgraded result, you will need an upgraded plan. Here, let us look at ideas to employ to increase your customers.

1. Delivering Excellence Services

If a customer patronizes your business or services and they are not satisfied, they may not come back for future patronages and not only that, they may also relate their experiences to people and you may lose them too. This is why you do not only need to keep improving your products and services but you should endeavour to surpass the expectation of your customers.

Nothing keeps customers like the quality of service they receive. One of my friends that fixes her hair in the next town made some exposition to me. To get to the salon, she will have to drive about 1 hour. When I ask her why she has to leave other closer salons to go this far to make her hair, when she explained that they are the ones that have met her expectations, I then understood her reasons for patronage.

You see, there are many things customers look out for which influence their choice of patronage; one of them is getting quality products or services. There are people that cannot compromise their choice of quality even at the expense of paying more, so you should put this into consideration.

2. Having A Good Marketing Team

The truth is; your customers will only know about your products if they have an idea that you provide such services. The way and manner you present or package your products and services in the eyes of your customers and potential customers will go a long way to influence their patronage.

You have to have an idea of your targeted audience, then you will know how to take your business to them. Your sales, as a business person, is a direct function of your marketing acumen, so you need to work on your public relations and know how to scout for customers. One thing to have in mind is; your products and services may be very excellent but they will not market themselves. You have to be the one to make the move to market them to your targeted customers.
