Strategic Changes(planned changes) - Business ideas
Hi everyone, as we all know that, life is full of uncertainties, there is only one thing certain and that is change!!. In fact the change is law of the life right? It is relevant not just for individuals, but also for organisations. Change is a continuous phenomenon.
The concept of change
Change implies the creation of imbalances in the existing pattern of situation. It encourages people to learn and cope up with change by making necessary adjustments.
But what are strategic changes?
Basically strategic change is planned change which is necessitated by the changes in the external environment of business. The administration (Top management) makes strategies of change to cope up with the forces in the external environment such as -
(1). Technology - It is the major external force which calls for the change. The rate of technological changes is greater today than any time in the past and technological changes are responsible for changing the nature of jobs performed at all levels in the organisation.
Technological advancement is a permanent fixture in the business world and it continues to demand the administration's attention as a pressure for change.
(2). Marketing- To be honest, marketing conditions are no more static. They are in the process of rapid changes as the needs, desires and expectations of the customers change frequently. However, there is a tough competition between manufacturers and suppliers in the today's market. You may have seen market is flooded with new products and innovations every day.
New media types of advertisement and publicity are being involved for influencing the consumers. All these factors put a huge pressure on the modern organisation to change their technology and marketing strategies for survival.
(3). Social changes- These changes occurs because of spread of education, knowledge explosion and government's efforts, social changes are taking place at a very fast pace. The craze for social equality i.e equal opportunity to women, equal pay for equal work. It has posed new challenges for the management. The management has to follow social norms in shaping its employment, marketing and other policies.
(4). Political changes- political forces within and outside the country have an important influence on large business houses, particularly the transnational corporations. The relation between government and business houses has became very complex in the modern times. The interference of government in business has increased tremendously in the most of the countries. Many laws have been passed to regulate the activities of the corporate sector. Practically the organisations have No control over political changes and legal forces, but they have to be adapted to meet the pressure of these forces
Changes are not just limited extent to the above many changes are uncertain and not listed so always expected the unexpected.

Change is a constant thing in life and either it is in business, politics or every other major change we have to be prepared for it at all time.
It seems to me that you make a good approach to the different changes that can exist today. Changes are always good, but many people do not assimilate them in the best way. Changes can allow us to do great things, within them reinventing ourselves. Today with the pandemic many people have had to undertake, I think that is something positive because if this had not happened they would still be common employees.
Changes will keep occuring and we just have to learn to adapt to the changes that come our way, we need to shift out balance to allign to those changes.
