I agree, Brave is a good browser, but so is (for example) Microsoft's New Edge, which is also based on Chromium and out of the box consumes less resources (as it doesn't have, unlike Brave, custom plugins for Ads, wallet and so on).
In order for Brave to be relevant it needs to be special. The Ads Reward and Brave Creator program are a great differentiator but, if their value is lost, what's left is just yet another decent Chromium-based browser. Not to mention the taste of disappointment that users must endure for having their wallet value decimated, and all the recurring issues with Ads not showing, payments not delivered, etc. etc.
I wrote this article because I find myself in the position of wondering, is Brave still worth FOR ME?
