Flipkart partners with Polygon for Loyalty Programme

Flipkart is one of the leading e-commerce platforms in India and it is operated by Walmart which is the biggest stakeholder in the company. Two major operators in India are operating as ecommerce platforms and these are Amazon and Flipkart. It seems that Flipkart is going towards Web Three because the company has partnered with Polygon. Flipkart has been running a loyalty program but now they want to scale it with the blockchain and this is the region they have partnered with Polygon chain.

As of now, the loyalty program is not so popular but it is expected that once it is integrated with the polygon network it can be better. Undoubtedly the ecommerce platform has got a bigger user base so it will help them have more loyal users on their platform. This is a good announcement because at least now something coming positive from a company that is doing well in India in terms of e-commerce business and now with the environment of blockchain and the web three things are going to be even better.

It can also encourage many other companies to think about it because there are so many brands operating in the country and they also offer some loyalty programs. This blockchain is also not just limited to certain programs instead it can leverage different things on a scale but the requirement would be for those companies to think about it and explore the possibility.

I am a Flipkart user and I look forward to seeing how this will be implemented and what positive impact it will bring on every user. I have never been part of the loyal program but I hope with this integration things are going to be better and I should be preferring it to be part of that program which can bring more incentives to buyers like me.'
